Interaction or Industrial Design Internship

We are currently looking for an Industrial Design Intern starting June or September 2023. Open for interaction design, industrial design and electronic design students.

What you will be working on:

You will be involved in several projects for our clients as junior Interactive Product Designer. This involves skills in industrial design, GUI design, model making and presentation. We also encourage you to do a more independent project within Sophisti, using our expertise and technology. This independent project may very well be your graduation project, but can also be a research track we haven’t found the time for yet.

What we expect from you

Due to the short iterations in our projects we expect full-time attendance from you for a minimum of three months (six months preferred). We expect you to be in either Bachelors or Master program in a course like Interaction Design. But those studying industrial design, graphic design or game design should feel free to apply as well. In general it is of importance that you have experience in CAD modelling and Photoshop. Fluency in English is also a hard requirement.

What we offer

We offer a working place in a creative hotspot in the centre of Amsterdam. Working in a small design consultancy as Sophisti has the advantage of being closely involved in several aspects of interactive product development. We cover travel expenses, costs related to project work and a basic allowance of € 330 per month.
