Solar Display

 

The Dutch Government Buildings Agency has installed an experimental set-up for solar-power on the roof of the IND (Department of Immigration) building in Zevenaar. 16 systems with Photo Voltaic Panels and Inverters where installed by Green Power Solutions. Ivada Electric placed the system that measures around 30 parameters of each system. Sophisti developed a multi-touch interface in the lobby which allows visitors to gain insight in the energy production of the solar-roof. Of each component users can gain insight in their suppliers and their characteristics. The interface is meant to create awareness of solar power solutions and the Dutch government her ambition to be more energy efficient. The interface is fully branded in the Dutch central government visual identity.
